Because FIRST DROP SHOP provides digital music and downloadable content, purchases are generally final once digital content has been delivered or accessed. The following policy explains when a refund may be considered.
1. DIGITAL SALES ARE GENERALLY FINAL
Digital music, downloadable files, digital bundles, and other electronically delivered products are generally non-refundable once the content has been delivered, accessed, or downloaded, except where required by law or where an approved exception applies.
2. REFUND EXCEPTIONS
A refund may be considered for duplicate purchases, incorrect products delivered, technical delivery problems that cannot be resolved, corrupted or unusable files, unauthorized transactions, cancelled releases, or other circumstances approved by FIRST DROP SHOP
.3. PRE-ORDERS
A digital pre-order may be cancelled before any preorder-exclusive content has been delivered. Once an instant preorder track, early-release track, or other preorder benefit has been made available to the customer, the pre-order is generally considered delivered and non-refundable, except for an approved exception.
4. ROLLING RELEASES
For rolling-release projects, individual tracks may become available before the full album release date. Once any paid preorder content has been unlocked or delivered, the purchase is generally non-refundable.
5. CANCELLED RELEASES
If an artist, label, or FIRST DROP SHOP cancels a paid release before the customer receives the purchased content, affected customers may receive a refund or another resolution determined by FIRST DROP SHOP.
6. DUPLICATE PURCHASES
If a customer accidentally purchases the same digital product more than once, the duplicate transaction may be eligible for a refund after the order history is verified.
7. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
Customers experiencing download or delivery problems should contact support before requesting a refund. FIRST DROP SHOP will first attempt to restore access, replace the file, or correct the delivery issue.
8. UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS
Customers who believe a purchase was made without authorization should contact FIRST DROP SHOP promptly. Additional verification may be required before a refund is issued.
9. FREE DOWNLOADS
Free downloads have no purchase price and therefore do not qualify for monetary refunds.
10. REFUNDS AND ARTIST EARNINGS
Approved refunds, chargebacks, reversals, and related transaction adjustments may be deducted from the eligible sales balance associated with the artist or vendor before payout.
11. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request review of a transaction, use the Contact page and select Customer Support. Include the customer name, email address, order number, product name, and a brief explanation of the issue.
12. REFUND DECISIONS
Refund requests are reviewed individually. FIRST DROP SHOP reserves the right to approve or deny a refund based on the circumstances of the transaction, the delivery status of the digital product, platform policies, and applicable law.
